Η ΕΛΙΞ, εταίρος του προγράμματος “Heritage beyond borders: Heritage and Citizenship in a changing Europe”, έχει εξασφαλίσει για εσάς και αναζητά 3 άτομα ηλικίας 18-30 και έναν αρχηγό ομάδας ηλικίας 18+, που θα συμμετέχουν στην ανταλλαγή νέων η οποία διοργανώνεται από τις 8 έως τις 19 Σεπτεμβρίου 2017 στην πόλη του Aniane, Clermont l’Herault, Adissan στην Γαλλία και συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+.
Το πρόγραμμα υλοποιείται με συγχρηματοδότηση από το Erasmus+ και συμμετέχουν εκτός της ΕΛΙΞ και της Concordia της Γαλλίας που έχει τον συντονισμό, οργανώσεις από 4 άλλες χώρες.

GENERAL BACKGROUND:
Each citizen is defined through its cultural, educational and environmental involvement. Heritage has been an important element of local communities where youth and volunteering organizations have organized their projects since the start of 20th century as we can see from the work and initiatives within our international networks. Sustainable development, perceived as a main trend, has become a key concept with extended applicability in the heritage and cultural diversity areas. The intangible cultural heritage as a mainspring of cultural diversity and a guarantee of sustainable development, is underscored at international level by normative documents as well as a priority axe at local and regional levels. In this context, Concordia intends to set up a youth exchange on sustainable valorization of intangible heritage in Europe.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
“Heritage beyond borders” will be a multi-located project. This youth exchange will be held in Aniane, Clermont l’Hérault and Adissan, all situated between Montpellier and the Spanish border in the south of France. This region has an incredibly heritage of traditions and legends part of Occitan culture used by local communities to strengthen and to shape their identity. The main goal is to raise awareness at local, national and international level of the importance of the intangible cultural heritage, and of ensuring mutual appreciation. We intend to promote cultural diversity through innovative and creative approaches, by enhancing cultural heritage as a bridge to sustainable social, economic and human development. Participants will be organized in groups and will use street art techniques (graffiti, mosaic and stencils) as well as storytelling to represent the legends and stories of the Occitan totemic animals (intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO). They will be supported by local artists. By the end of the project, a permanent graffiti will be created and they will take part in a Street Art Festival in the region. Each participant will be invited to share their traditions, stories and legends in order to create a space of reflection on cultural diversity and sustainable development in Europe.

OBJECTIVES:
– To raise awareness on cultural diversity and intangible heritage in Europe
– To promote intercultural learning and exchange, active citizenship and social inclusion through visual arts, creativity and heritage
– To map the intangible cultural heritage in Europe
– To use legends and local stories as a tool to rediscover the cultural heritage and new representations
– To enable young people to take ownership of new expressive tools to enhance their creative and artistic skills through visual arts
– To foster new synergies among different local organizations through voluntary activities
ACTIVITIES:
– Theoretical workshops
– Visual arts performances with local artists
– Open spaces: meeting, sharing and discussing with specialists on local intangible heritage
– Regional street-art festival
METHOLOGY:
The methodology, based on the reinforcement of non formal education values, workshops, debates, will encourage an active involvement of each participant. This will allow participants to be able to develop competencies and new tools for understanding and highlighting their local intangible heritage.
PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS:
Youngsters aged between 18 and 30 who want to share and discuss about local intangible heritage and who have some interest in street and visual arts.

Creation of a permanent graffiti and audio-visual support tool

Το κόστος μετακινήσεων επιστρέφεται στους συμμετέχοντες μετά από την ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος και αφού έχουν καταθέσει τα απαραίτητα χαρτιά (αποδείξεις, εισιτήρια, boarding pass, κλπ…). Σύμφωνα με τους νέους όρους του προγράμματος Erasmus+ και σύμφωνα με την χιλιομετρική απόσταση το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 275 €(*) για κάθε συμμετέχοντα. Για αποστάσεις από 2000 km μέχρι 2999 km το ποσό επιστροφής είναι μέχρι 360 €
*(It means that if you have a budget of 275€ and you spend 275€, you will receive all 275€, and in this case will be the 100% of the travel. Otherwise for example, if you spend 200€ with a budget of 275€, we will reimburse you up to 200€.)
